Looking to simplify internal hiring and keep a secret stash of job opportunities? This guide will walk you through creating a specialized job widget that displays only the positions you’ve marked as hidden. This tool will make managing internal talent easier than ever. Let’s dive in!

Step 1: Create a Hidden Job


  1. Create a Job Listing: Start by creating a new job post.
  2. Mark It as Hidden:
  • Click on “Show Advanced Options” during the job creation process.
  • Toggle ON the “Hide Listing” option to mark the job as hidden.                                                           

  • Complete and Publish: Fill in the job details and publish the listing. The job will now be hidden from public view.

Step 2: Locate Your Forms Widget


  1. Go to the “Account Details” section of your platform.
  2. Select the “Embeddable Jobs Widget” menu option.
  3. Scroll down to the second section to find the Forms Widget.

Step 3: Copy and Paste the Widget Code

  1. Copy the widget code provided in the Forms Widget section.
  2. Choose a secure platform for your internal job listings, such as a password-protected page accessible only to your team.
  3. Paste the code into the HTML of the page where you want your internal careers page to appear.

Step 4: Configure the Widget to Display Hidden Jobs

  1. Add the following line to the widget code you pasted in Step 3:
    data-show-only-hidden-jobs="true"
  2. Place this line in the designated area within the widget code (refer to the image below for guidance).

            After adding this line, your widget code should look similar to the example provided.


This code ensures the widget displays only the jobs you marked as hidden in Step 1.
